Honestly, it takes intentionality to stay friends with your siblings but we all go through that stage and love is conveyed through different channels. I know its because you typed on the laptop, but the way everything was written in small letters just gave a whole new meaning to the writing. It gave vulnerability and openness to your emotions, it gave elements of love and raw honesty. It gave everything for me and I'm so proud of you Tobe. Keep going and even if you say you are not a writer, the best writers do not write for the words, they derive it from emotions and experiences and I love what you do. Keep it up Tobe❤️❤️

Just this week, my team released a publication on District 707 (forgiveness) and while I was editing the work, I understood that forgiveness needs courage.
I think at some point in our lives (especially me), we get too angry and hold deep grudges. And most of the time, the victims of our grudges are innocent and clueless. Sometimes, what we really need to do is to talk and talk it out. The other person is probably going through a whole lot too. Life gets really hard as and older sibling and a teenager.

I related so much to this. I held a quiet grudge against my first best friend — my cousin. She was a last born but a few years older, so she became a teenager first. We grew apart when she got new friends and suddenly it wasn’t cool to hang out with her little cousin anymore. I didn’t realize how deeply that stayed with me… until now. 🧡🍊
Now I’m reflecting on my relationship with my older sister 😭

The "silent breakup", "heart break", that no one talks about. Most times, we are closed to the ones we love yet so far. It's beautiful and kind to see others from a place of love and graciousness.
I feel emotional reading this because, siblings are humans too , the way we change and fight our demons , that’s how they fight theirs , they can be annoying sometimes but trust me they love us dearly 😍🫂
My brother and I were really close too and he went to secondary school and became too cool to hangout with me, I think that’s why I rely so much on my dogs, because they’ll never stop enjoy being around me.
